Northeast Theatre on Ice Festival, Information for Teams

The 2017 Northeast Theatre on Ice Festival is a wonderful opportunity for teams to receive critiques from Theatre on Ice officials. This is not a competition, although all rules, including those regarding scenery, timing, and warm-ups will be followed.

Application deadline February 15, 2017, Late applications may be accepted at the discretion of the festival committee and a $25 late fee will be required. Northeast Theater on Ice Festival – TEAM REGISTRATION APPLICATION

  • Free Skate $350, Choreographic Exercise $250, Both $580 ($20 discount), 15 minutes of practice ice is included with each event. Addition half hour of practice ice is $175. Receipt of payment is required to secure ice time.
  • Guests admission fee is $5 per person at the door. Registration fee includes admission for team members and 2 coaches, 1 chaperone and 2 prop/scenery people per team. These people must be identified at the time of check in and will receive special passes on lanyards.
  • The Gordon H. Paquette Arena at Leddy Park is 200’ x 85’ with rounded corners.
  • The  Northeast Theatre on Ice Festival will follow the guidelines presented in the 2016-17 TOI Guidelines.  This means we will not be using a curtain.  Officials will be placed at center ice on the top row of stands.

Props
There will be an inside area for prop set up and staging with easy access to the performance rink. Due to the timing of this event, the volume of space available for props is somewhat diminished. Please note on your registration form if you anticipate large props.
