On Thin Ice (OTI) is a competitive theatrical skating troupe open to adult skaters of all abilities for the 2019-2020 season. Please join us! OTI is committed to providing a team atmosphere in which skaters with a variety of skills can work together on both skating and theatrical skills.
Who is eligible? What are the minimum requirements?
OTI members must be members of US Figure Skating, full or associate members of Champlain Valley Skating Club (CVSC). Skaters must have passed at least one US Figure Skating test (other than a basic skills badge). This may include an adult or standard Moves in the Field (MIF), individual dance test (passing the entire dance category not required), freestyle, or pairs. This test needs to be passed by April 1, 2020.
The Team will consist of 8 to 24 members. All members must be 18 years old by January 1, 2020.
OTI participates in both exhibitions and competitions. Potential events are listed below.
