Our Club

US Figure Skating

US Figure Skating

The Champlain Valley Skating Club has close to 100 members of all ages and figure skating abilities, as well as a wonderful cadre of experienced and certified coaches.  Our home rink is Leddy Arena, located on the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain in Burlington.  Our secondary rink is Gutterson Arena at the University of Vermont.  In the Spring, we have the pleasure of hosting our Spring Ice at Cairns Arena in South Burlington.

We are a proud member of US Figure Skating and all CVSC members receive membership in USFS, sports accident insurance, and a subscription to Skating Magazine.  


As a USFS member you also gain access to ice sessions, test sessions, and competitions throughout the country.


What We Do

As a member of the US Figure Skating Association, we:

  • provide access to club practice ice
  • connect members with professionally certified coaches
  • host test sessions
  • offer theater on ice
  • host competitions
  • host seminars with guest coaches
  • help grow the sport of figure skating
