Kaylee Dutil-Poulin

I am a part of the US Figure Skating Association and Learn to Skate USA. I have eight years of experience teaching group lessons and have taught Intro to Private and private lessons to students of all ages as well. I have been a member of the CVSC for 12 years. I have passed my gold skating skills test and pre-gold free skate. Currently, I am an Exercise Science student at the University of Vermont and will be continuing my education towards a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in the coming year. I have competed at the pre-gold level throughout the Northeast on behalf of CVSC and UVM’s collegiate team. I am excited to grow as a coach with aspiring skaters of all ages and skill sets. 


Rate: $40/ hour

JILLIAN GEISS FRASCOIA

Jillian is a member of US Figure Skating and Learn to Skate USA. She is the director of the Vermont Skating Academy which is a Learn to Skate USA program at the Essex Skating Facility which includes group lessons, introduction to private lessons and competitive freestyle ice. She was a New England Regional competitor at the Silver level and has her Pre-Gold Free Skate, 5th Figure and Pre Silver dance tests.  Jillian has been instructing for over 34 years in this community and been a member of CVSC for 41 years and is currently an active board member and professional liaison for the club. She enjoys teaching both competitive and recreational figure skaters of all ages. Jillian is a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) at the University of Vermont Medical Center. 


Rate: $60/hr.

Erin gravelle

Erin has over 25 years of a variety of roles in the figure and recreational skating worlds.  A former member of Disney on Ice, coach and skater with Vermont Children’s Theater on Ice in the early 2000s: she has passed her Gold Skating Skills, Pre-Silver Freestyle, Pre-Gold Pattern Dances and Fifth figure tests. Erin has taught USFS learn-to-skate and private lessons to skaters of all ages throughout Vermont and at Wollman Rink in NYC.  She especially loves wild ice skating on the frozen lakes and ponds when nature provides, and sharing the simple joy and thrill of skating with students of all ages.  


Standard Lesson Rate: $60/hr, Intro to Private Lessons $40/hr


MARTHA HARDING

Martha is a member of the PSA and a Master rated professional in Figures, Freestyle, Moves in the Field and Group, and a Registered rated professional in Team skating. She has passed her 8th Figure, Senior Freestyle and Silver Dance tests and has 50 years of experience teaching. Her students range from children to adults, and include both recreational and qualifying competitive skaters. Her students have medaled at Regionals, Sectionals, Adult Nationals and Collegiate Nationals competitions. Martha is a professional for On Thin Ice and Vermont Children’s Theatre On Ice.

Michelle Holder

Michelle Holder lives in Montpelier, Vermont and grew up skating with the Stowe Skating Club. During that time, she passed her bronze singles test, preliminary figures test, and two bronze-level dance tests. In college, she skated with the UVM club and taught in Learn to Skate Programs. She is Learn to Skate certified, USFSA certified, and also coaches at the Barre Figure Skating Club. 


She is committed to sharing the joy of skating as a lifelong sport and to helping skaters progress based on their individual goals and needs. 


When not at the rink or watching her daughter skate, she works as a school librarian at Randolph Union High School.

2017 World Figure Silver Medalist,  World Figure Hall of Fame Inductee plus  Gold Medal Status in Dance, CFSC Dance, Figures, Freestyle, Free Dance, Moves in The Field, PSA Rated Registered MIF & FS, Power Hockey Level 2.  As a coach, Jennifer’s objective is to encourage her students to set goals and achieve their dreams. She instills a sense of diligence and dedication as well as the joy of skating through creativity. Plus every summer Jennifer takes skaters to Lake Placid for a training camp.  Jennifer coaches all levels and abilities. She does have some lesson slots still open.

JULIE MACDONALD

Julie is a member of US Figure Skating and the PSA.  She has passed the ISI Freestyle 3 and Figure 1 tests, the US Figure Skating Preliminary Freestyle, Moves and Figure tests, and Preliminary Dances. Julie teaches group lessons for the Burlington Parks & Recreation Department and the Essex Skating Academy.  She is the coordinator of the Advanced Group lesson skating class at Leddy Arena. Julie has taught private and group lessons for the past 44 years. She is available to teach all ages, from 3-year-olds through adults and has some slots still open for this winter. 


Rate: $54/session, Intro to Private Lessons: $27 per 1/2 session

PATRICIA A. STOKOWSKI, PHD

Patricia is a Gold Medalist and specialist in ice dance who coaches all ages / all levels in ice dance and moves in the field.  Her students have competed and medaled at Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships, New England regional and Eastern sectional ice dance competitions, and Adult National Championships, and her teams have placed within the top six at Junior National Championships. She is eager to share her love of ice dance with both competitive and recreational skaters! Beyond the rink, Pat is a Professor in the Rubenstein School at the University of Vermont.  


Rate: $66/ hour
